Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode have been after another shot at the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championships for some time now, and during tonight’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown, they capitalized on their chance.
In a match against The Street Profits tonight, Ziggler and Roode came away with a huge win, taking down the champions to finally reach the pinnacle they have been dying to achieve. Late in the match, Ziggler was able to land a huge surprise dropkick on Dawkins, and he and Roode began attacking the superstar who was down. Dawkins managed to tag Ford back in, and he tried his best against Ziggler, but Roode and Ziggler were eventually able to land their finisher on the superstar for the win.
