David Arquette‘s wild return to professional wrestling is officially said to be the subject of a documentary called You Cannot Kill David Arquette to be produced by XTR.
In a statement, via The Wrap, the former WCW Champion had the following to say:
“I’ve always loved wrestling. I wanted to do this film as a love letter to wrestling. I didn’t know when I started this journey that it may cost me my life, but it was all worth it just to have the wrestlers in the locker room call me ‘one of the boys!’”

The XTR CEO calls the documentary “unlike anything you’ve seen before,” and touted that he was giving David his chance to tell his side of his pro wrestling story. Film director, David Darg, praised Arquette for his passion and called it “a thrill” to be ringside.
“David Arquette is one of the most captivating and talented entertainers in the world, and his energy is matched only by the passion of the wrestling community,” said Darg. “It’s been a thrill to be ringside the past few years and viewers will not be disappointed,”
The documentary will also feature interviews with David’s family and Pro Wrestling legends such as Ric Flair. Of course, in the year 2000, David Arquette starred in WCW’s Ready To Rumble and infamously captured the WCW Championship as well.
