Welcome to a fresh instalment of eWrestlingNews Question of the Day!
Despite being St. Patrick’s Day today, we had another exciting occasion yesterday – 3/16, or commonly known as “3:16 Day”. This day celebrates the iconic wrestler, Stone Cold Steve Austin, often in a rather boozy manner.
Considering it’s a Monday, we realize that not many folks may indulge in heavy drinking today, even if they are die-hard wrestling fans, let alone on the eve of St. Patrick’s Day. However, we were curious if you hosted or attended any gatherings over the weekend?
Our curiosity for today surrounds this question: “Did you commemorate 3:16 Day in any way or do you have any wrestling-centric plans for St. Patrick’s Day?”

Briefly on my perspective…
I’m not inclined towards alcohol in any way, hence my response is unfortunately a simple ‘no’.
To add a bit more substance to my answer, I’ll navigate through some allied themes.
If there was a day dedicated to Rusev, following this trend, it’s challenging to pin it down as every day is revered as Rusev Day. Frankly, I find it hard to foresee that WWE would continue the Rusev Day gimmick, even if Miro re-enters the scene. It would be quite a surprise, given the time that has elapsed.
It’s disappointing to see AEW not hosting St. Patrick’s Day Slam once more. I am curious about Tony Khan’s sudden decision of discontinuing the name.
I wonder how many fans will tune in to Raw tonight anticipating Finn Balor to seize the Intercontinental Championship, thanks to the luck of the Irish. It’s quite interesting to imagine how many hold that specific prediction.
On a random note, suppose I ever decide to take up drinking. In that case, I assure you that I won’t be expending those extra calories or spend a single penny on the awful stuff Hulk Hogan has been pushing lately. I hold a considerable amount of disdain for those weekly adverts and am hopeful for an end to it.
