Recently, professional wrestler Booker T shared that he turned down an interview opportunity with well-known wrestling media personality, DJ Vlad. However, DJ Vlad has put forth proof which seems to contradict this narrative.
In the newest episode of his podcast “Hall of Fame,” Booker T commented that he was offered a financial incentive to appear on DJ Vlad’s show but chose not to. He explained that he did not want to be subjected to “exploitation” or risk being portrayed as a “fool in front of the world.”
Vlad contradicted Booker’s version of events on social media platform, Twitter. He reposted correspondence from July 2020 to demonstrate that Booker had initially expressed interest in participating in the interview.
In his tweet, Vlad said, “Booker T isn’t telling the truth. Booker seemed eager to do VladTV and had arrived at the studio with our camera operator. As I was running late that day, the interview didn’t occur. Here’s the 2020 conversation captured in a direct message.”
