Earlier in the day, an announcement emerged from WrestleVotes stating that the WWE Performance Center was preparing to relocate to Las Vegas, NV. This initial report suggested that Mark Shapiro, the President of Endeavor, held a comprehensive staff meeting today at WWE HQ and revealed tentative plans for shifting the Performance Center from Orlando to Las Vegas.
However, according to a recent report by Fightful Select, several WWE insiders have refuted these claims, stating that no such declaration was made unless there was another meeting conducted.
Indeed, a meeting did occur, and during this gathering, Shapiro highlighted the fact that Las Vegas is an epicenter for sports and entertainment. He suggested the potential for establishing a WWE foothold in the region. Despite this, it’s up to WWE to define what that foothold would entail and how large it might become.
In closing, it was noted that no person affiliated with the WWE Performance Center has any knowledge of such relocation plans and were taken aback when they heard of the rumors. As many are aware, many of the performers reside nearby to the current location of the Performance Center which allows for easy commutes. In addition, the cost of living for trainees in Orlando is much more affordable compared to that in Las Vegas.
