Tonight’s Friday Night SmackDown featured a huge Fatal Four-way Match for the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship. In a stunning victory, the Dirty Dawgs – Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode – were able to retain their titles despite being vastly outnumbered.

If @reymysterio & @DomMysterio35 win tonight, they'd be the first father-son combination to win tag team gold in WWE! Can they get it done? #SmackDown pic.twitter.com/VWACtdgkWt

In a match that featured The Street Profits, The Alpha Academy (Chad Gable & Otis), and the duo of Rey and Dominik Mysterio, every team brought their ‘A’ game from the start. It looked as if The Mysterios would come away with a win late after both Rey and Dominik were able to land double 619’s on both members of the Dirty Dawgs. But interruptions from Otis and The Street Profits kept the match going, giving the Dirty Dawgs a chance to recharge.

After The Mysterios were unable to capitalize and win the bout, Angelo Dawkins and Chad Gable fought in the ring for a bit before Montez Ford tagged in. He hit a massive frog splash onto Gable, but Ziggler quickly sliding into the ring to steal the win. He blasted Ford with a superkick, allowing Roode to pin Gable to retain their titles.
