Did Joe Hendry Capture The TNA World Heavyweight Championship At Bound For Glory 2024?

Jubilations for Joe Hendry were quashed when he lost to Nic Nemeth in his attempt to win the TNA World Heavyweight Championship. This took place at the TNA Bound for Glory 2024 pay-per-view event on Saturday night, ending in disappointment for Hendry.

The culmination of the show saw a special guest referee in the form of Frankie Kazarian, who was there to make use of his ‘Call Your Shot’ trophy, which he had previously won.

WWE Hall of Famer JBL made a surprise appearance, knocking out Kazarian with his infamous Clothesline from Hell move. He then confronted Hendry outside the ring and hit him with the same move. Ryan Nemeth wasn’t spared either, receiving the same fate.

Back in the ring, Nic Nemeth executed a Danger Zone resulting in a two count. Although Hendry managed to kick out, he was caught with a superkick and another Danger Zone from Nemeth, which helped Nemeth hold on to his title.

As it stands, Nemeth has held onto his TNA World Championship title for a total of 99 days.
