Dexter Lumis Silences Cameron Grimes At NXT TakeOver: WarGames

The intense rivalry between Dexter Lumis and Cameron Grimes continued at NXT TakeOver: WarGames. The competitors met in a Strap Match, and Grimes attacked Lumis before the bell. He used the strap on Lumis, as Grimes hit his opponent with it repeatedly. Lumis eventually fought back, and the match officially started. He floored Grimes with a nasty uppercut in mid-air.

Lumis threw Grimes around ringside and slammed him into the barricade. But Grimes slammed Lumis onto the floor. He gained the advantage and put a bag over Lumis’ head. He beat him with the strap, but Lumis returned the favor.

Grimes suplexed Lumis into the turnbuckle. He hit Lumis with a chair, but Lumis kept fighting. The competitors traded counters, but Lumis sent Grimes chair-first into a chair. He locked in Silence and choked him until Grimes tapped out.
