Details On Who Put The Men’s Royal Rumble Match Together
Both Royal Rumble matches on Sunday certainly had their own unique stamp on them, and it looks like we can give credit to a few names who put the men’s version of the 30-person match together.
According to Dave Meltzer in his latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it was Paul Heyman, Shane McMahon, Jamie Noble, Abyss and Lance Storm who all helped to book the bout. Vince McMahon did play his part in the matter, obviously being the final say in having Drew McIntyre picking up the victory and having his hands in those closing moments between Drew and Reigns in the match.
Meltzer also adds that it’s only been a few weeks since Drew McIntyre was decided to be the winner, beating out Aleister Black as the other candidate.
