WWE legend and Hall of Famer Ric Flair has announced his single status.
Ric Flair, or ‘The Nature Boy’ as he is fondly known, took to social media platform Twitter this past Monday to share the news of his separation from his wife Wendy Barlow after being together for 13 years. His statement read:
“Wendy And I Enjoyed 13 Great Years. As With Every Couple, We Have Experienced Our Ups And Downs. I Think It’s Important For Everyone To Know Right Now That We Have Decided To Part Ways Respectfully. I’ll Never Ever Be Able To Thank Her Enough For Standing By My Side Through My Terrible Health Crisis In 2017. She Never Left My Side! And For That I Will Always Be Grateful! We Both Are Working On Different Projects At The Current Time & It Becomes Difficult With My Schedule & Her Schedule To Make This Work. I Wish Her The Best Of Luck With Her Projects, And I Know That She Supports Mine!”
The pair’s relationship history is traced back to WCW, where they met and then proceeded to get engaged in 2016 before tying the knot two years later in 2018. There was a brief separation in 2022, but the couple managed to come back together after just four months.
Flair’s tweet was posted on September 23, 2024, confirming their decision to split.
