Detailed AEW Dynamite Spoilers From Chris Jericho’s Cruise, Set To Air Tonight

All Elite Wrestling taped several matches for this week’s new episode of AEW Dynamite on Chris Jericho’s “Rock ‘n’ Wrestling Rager at Sea: Part Deux” cruise. The content taped on the cruise ship will air later tonight on TNT and you can read a more detailed recap of the taping (courtesy of Andrew M.) below:

AEW Tag Team Championship
Kenny Omega & Hangman Page defeated SCU (c) to win the titles

Great match given plenty of time (I think it went 30+ minutes), lots of near falls and false finishes. Post-match the Young Bucks come out to celebrate with Omega & Page, but Page doesn’t want anything to do with them, and instead celebrates by himself by crowd surfing through the audience to the stage.

Britt Baker defeated Priscilla Kelly

Kelly tapped out to Britt’s Lockjaw finisher, after Baker used her foot push the rope away to keep Kelly from breaking the hold. Post-match Tony Schiavone came to the ring to interview Britt, who cut a heel promo insulting Tony and talking about how smart and great she is and being a role model.

The Inner Circle (Chris Jericho, Santana, and Ortiz w/ Jake Hager) defeated Jurassic Express

Jericho was over huge of course, seeing as it’s his cruise. Finish saw Luchasaurus chase Hager to the back, leaving Jericho in the ring with Marko Stunt. Stunt got a couple of 2-count roll-ups on Jericho, but Chris hit the Judas Effect on Marko for the win.

MJF defeated Joey Janela

MJF made Excaliber and Justin Roberts, along with a couple of fans kiss his ring during his entrance. Janela looked like he was about to put MJF away, but Kip Sabian and Penelope Ford came out onto the ramp and started making out causing a distraction for Janela, allowing MJF to get the win. Post-match MJF cuts a promo on Cody, who comes out. MJF reminds Cody he is not allowed to touch him, and the segment ends with The Young Bucks sneaking up behind MJF and giving him a couple of Super Kicks before throwing MJF in the pool nearby.

#1 Contender’s Match (AEW World Championship
Jon Moxley defeated PAC

Chris Jericho takes Tony Schiavone’s place at the announce desk and does commentary for this match. Ref gives them a lot of leeway with Moxley and Pac fighting through the crowd and up some stairs at one point. Pac keeps going for Moxleys damaged eye from last week, removing his bandage. Moxley gets the win after hitting 2 Paradigm Shifts on Pac. Post-match Jericho gets up from the desk and stares at Moxley from the stage, holding up his AEW title.

Post Show
The Elite come out and say AEW will be back on the Jericho cruise next year, and they will do it live next year, as opposed to being taped.

Note: Prior to the Dynamite taping starting, a “bonus” match featured Kip Sabian w/ Penelope Ford defeating QT Marshall, but it’s unknown if it was recorded for AEW Dark or not.
