Mercedes Mone recently appeared on the “Superstar Crossover” podcast hosted by Josh Martinez, where she talked about a range of topics, which included her favorite performers to watch and the most underrated female performers in All Elite Wrestling (AEW).
During the chat, Mone revealed her favorite wrestlers to watch include Marufuji from Pro Wrestling NOAH, AJ Styles, Claudio Castagnoli, Zack Sabre Jr., and Mistico from CMLL. She also shared that she enjoys watching matches from various wrestling entities.
As for AEW’s most underrated female performers, Mone named Willow as a rising star who could potentially have a big future if she continues to be genuine. Furthermore, she applauded Toni Storm for her recent performances, and praised Thunder Rosa for her passion and drive. She also credited Sky Blue for her dedication and hard work.
In the same podcast, Deonna Purrazzo took a trip down memory lane and looked back at her historic battle against Mickie James at the TNA Wrestling’s first women’s main event at Hard To Kill 2022 pay-per-view. Commenting on the experience, Purrazzo said there was a lot of pressure to perform at the event. However, she added that being able to share the ring with the iconic Mickie James provided a sense of comfort. Purrazzo felt they truly earned the honor of featuring in the main event and the Texas Death Match.
