Diamond Dallas Page has gone on the record stating that he considers Randy Orton to be the most overlooked superstar of all era. During his appearance on the podcast “Drinks With Johnny”, Page confessed his admiration for Orton as a fan and discussed how Orton has innovatively adapted his Diamond Cutter move into the iconic RKO.
Here are some notable moments from the podcast:
Speaking on Orton’s signature move, the RKO, Page asserted: “I’m a big fan of Randy Orton, and I appreciate the way he’s elevated it [the RKO] to a new standard. He’s executed variants of it in ways I could never replicate. I believe Randy Orton is, to put it mildly, the most underestimated mega superstar of all history.”
Moving on to Orton’s inherent aptitude, Page said: “Randy has undoubtedly demonstrated that he’s got it all – amazing physique, remarkable health, and a successful surgical recovery. I’m a great admirer of all aspects of him – his appearance, his stature, his articulate expression, his performance in the ring, his fierce spirit, his intensity. Like I’ve said, he’s perhaps the most underestimated superstar of all time. Randy Orton could easily have his face on Mount Rushmore of superstars.”
The WWE women’s division has also been the recipient of high praise, this time from Otis, a member of the Alpha Academy. During a conversation with Chris Van Vliet for his “Insight” podcast, Otis was effusive in his praise for Zoey Stark and he expressed admiration for Maxxine Dupri’s improvements in her in-ring performance as well. He stated:
“Maxxine Dupri is a go-getter. I have nothing but praise for our entire women’s division, honestly. I’m a big supporter of Zoey Stark as she’s a real powerhouse. Our women’s division is an absolute welter of talent, no doubt about it.”
