In 2019, a WWE flight from Saudi Arabia back to the United States was delayed, causing major last-minute changes to the production of SmackDown and reportedly leaving a lot of talent shaken over the events.
There were several rumors about why the unfortunate incident happened, including money disagreements and more, but the official reason was said to be mechanical issues with the airplane.
A class-action suit by investors was also filed as they thought Vince McMahon and WWE were misleading them about their actual situation.
Taking to Twitter, Dax Harwood revealed that fear of getting murdered is why he never discussed the situation on his FTR podcast, even though he was on the flight. Harwood tweeted,
“Honestly, I was afraid if I told the truth about what happened, I would’ve been found dead somewhere in my house.”
