WWE enthusiasts should mark their calendars as the following installment of WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event is scheduled to transpire earlier than initially speculated.
This news about the forthcoming schedule of WWE’s Saturday Night’s Main Event was recently addressed on the newest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, hosted by Dave Meltzer.
In his statement, Meltzer conveyed that WWE has locked in the upcoming episode of Saturday Night’s Main Event to take the stage on January 25, 2025. This anticipated event will precede the WWE Royal Rumble, scheduled to take place on February 1, 2025, by just a week.
Meltzer went ahead to shed more light on WWE’s strategy. He explained their plan to roll out four editions of Saturday Night’s Main Event annually, abiding by a quarterly timetable.
Meltzer went on to clarify that the chronology related to the 2025 Royal Rumble was determined by NBC.
In his words, “The deal is that when they get the date from NBC, that is the date they run. They do not run NBC. NBC is the one who makes the choice. They are the higher power in this one.”
News also broke that the legendary WWE show will be reviving its regular broadcasts on television later in the month. Saturday Night’s Main Event, a reputed WWE show, will exhilarate wrestling fans on December 14, at the celebrated Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum located in Uniondale, New York. The match will enjoy live television coverage on NBC, and will also be concurrently streamed on the streaming service, Peacock.
