During the recent episode of AEW Dynamite 250, Darby Allin descended from the rafters for a dramatic appearance to confront The Elite. Additionally, it was mentioned that Martha Hart, widow of wrestler Owen Hart, gave the arrangement her blessing. This method is often employed in AEW, and the approval from Hart is always sought.

In a subsequent interview on the “Battleground” podcast, Allin shared what he would have done if Hart had not given her consent for the entrance.

The previous TNT Champion stated, “Plan B was coming back out with the flamethrower, having a bit of fiery fun. However, I was sitting with Tony (Khan) when Martha approached us before her presentation of the trophy to Danielson on behalf of the Owen Hart Foundation. Tony mentioned that we were contemplating an aerial entrance for me. She expressed her admiration for my work and placed her trust in AEW’s safety measures since we have a dependable team. Consequently, there wasn’t any hesitation on her side. Our conversation assured her of the precautions taken for these stunts. Safety is our top priority.”

In a different episode of the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, Deonna Purrazzo revealed her wish to face-off with her close friend Britt Baker at AEW.

Purrazzo commented, “Everyone knows Britt is a close friend of mine, therefore it’s quite inevitable for us to be in the same company and place. Eventually, we will work together and probably despise each other at one point, which I’m excited about.”

She further expressed her desire to challenge TBS Champion Mercedes Martinez.

Purrazzo told, “With Mercedes, I’ve always yearned for a dream match. Our paths barely crossed and we never had the chance to be in the same place at once. A submission match against her is my dream match. Both of us have technical proficiency and we have built our careers using submission techniques. Getting to trade those talents is a dream of mine.”
