Darby Allin Retains TNT Championship, Gets Attacked By The Hardy Family

Darby Allin’s latest test as All Elite Wrestling TNT Champion was former EVOLVE star JD Drake.

As usual for Allin’s matches, the champion was the considerably smaller man. Drake took advantage of that early as he damaged Allin repeatedly as Sting watched from ringside. Simply the stronger man, Drake landed gnarly clotheslines and worked Allin’s neck over.

Allin would get back into the match after Drake missed a cannonball into the railing outside the ring. The champion would get to the top rope and was met by Drake, which caused both men to trade slaps before Allin hit an Avalanche Code Red and then a Coffin Drop for the win.
After the match, Matt Hardy and The Butcher & The Blade attacked Allin before Sting & The Dark Order scared them off.
