WWE has announced that Daniel Bryan will confront Bray Wyatt on Friday Night SmackDown. Normally, two rivals going head to head on the go-home show to a PPV would not be newsworthy in and of itself. However, this is Bray Wyatt we’re talking about, so everything is always a little off.
Since returning to WWE, Wyatt has refused to step foot outside his Firefly Funhouse, preferring his clown-faced alter ego to do the “talking” for him. Wyatt is happy to taunt his opponents from the Titantron but has not appeared in person on WWE programming as of yet. With this challenge, the #1 Contender to the Universal Champion hopes to change that and stare his opponent in his unmasked eyes.
