MJF will defend the AEW World Championship against Samoa Joe at the upcoming Worlds End pay-per-view event, which takes place on December 30th in Long Island, New York.

On this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, Samoa Joe came out to cash in on the World Title shot that MJF promised him after Joe helped him retain the ROH World Tag Team Championships at Full Gear 2023.

As the two men nearly came to blows, Adam Cole told MJF to keep his word and defend the title. This resulted in MJF saying they could do it right then and there, but Joe said he wanted MJF to be 100% healthy. So the match will be taking place at Worlds End 2023.
