Damian Priest To Kick Off WWE RAW With United States Title Open Challenge

Damian Priest has a new challenge in front of him, but who will be the one to answer it on RAW?
WWE confirmed Damian Priest will start tonight’s new episode of RAW with a United States Title Open Championship Challenge, posting the following preview:
“Even before capturing the United States Champion from Sheamus at SummerSlam, Damian Priest was a fighting champion waiting to be crowned. Now that he has dethroned The Celtic Warrior, he is wasting no time proving that he is ready to take on all comers! Don’t miss with The Archer of Infamy kicks off Raw with a United States Title Open Championship Challenge, tonight at 8/7 C on USA Network.”
Priest was in action twice on last week’s episode of RAW (a singles match win via disqualification and tag team win), but this will mark his first title defense.
It’s also worth noting that John Morrison vs. The Miz was originally advertised for tonight’s show, but the match is no longer featured in this week’s RAW preview. Other matches that are still advertised for this week’s show include Bobby Lashley vs. Sheamus and Doudrop vs. Eva Marie.
