During a recent WWE UK tour, the current UFC Universal Champion, Cody Rhodes was interviewed by Manchester City. He was questioned about which footballer from the club’s team he wouldn’t want to encounter inside a WWE ring, and he chose Erling Haaland.
Rhodes stated, “I’d say Erling Haaland here, as you can see. Kind of looks like the type of guy who would beat you up outside of his bus, which I have a bad habit of, that’s been going on a lot lately. Don’t want to get into it with him, long limbs too, that’s a whole nother’ mess.”
In another matter, Damian Priest, the World Heavyweight Champion, recently appeared on the “Undisputed” podcast. He offered insights regarding his fondness for the New York Yankees and shared his experience during his visit to the Yankee Stadium with his championship title.
Priest expressed, “The Yankees, they’re my team. That’s why I was so honored to bring the title to Yankee Stadium. Jose Trevino’s a big WWE fan, and we’ve kept in touch. I love to support my friends, and he’s a friend. There are a lot of guys on the team who like wrestling. Trevino and Tommy [Kahnle] are the two biggest wrestling fans on the team, and [Nick] Swisher is a huge fan, too. I’m always pulling for them. I really think this is their year.”
