Damian Priest Seriously Impressing WWE Higher-Ups In Recent Months

The Judgment Day’s Damian Priest has been impressing the right people behind the scenes in recent months.

At WWE Backlash 2023, Priest lost to Bad Bunny in the San Juan Street Fight which saw interference by The Judgment Day, the LWO, Carlito, and Savio Vega.

PW Insider reports that Damian Priest received tons of praise backstage after Backlash and that he has been impressing people in recent months with his work to “level himself up.”

One source said that Priest has to be seen as one of the top-level players in WWE going forward.

The backstage response to the Bunny Vs. Priest match was incredibly positive, with one higher-up saying the match “paid for itself in publicity.”

On this week’s RAW, Priest competed in the World Heavyweight Championship tournament but was eliminated in the quarter-finals.

Priest signed with WWE in 2018 and is a former United States Champion and NXT North American Champion.
