Damian Priest and Sheamus have been rivals for almost several months now, and just a couple of days before the WWE Draft, the reigning WWE United States Champion once again came away with a win over his bitter foe.
For most of the match, it looked as if “The Celtic Warrior” looked primed to step up and take down the man who took the title from him. Weapons of all sorts, including kendo sticks, chairs, and tables were used from the very beginning, as the match was contested without disqualifications or count-outs to limit the action.

From start to finish, Sheamus had no problem using this weaponry. After ge dropped Priest with a suplex, “The Celtic Warrior” set up a table in the corner of the ring, hoping to do some real damage. Unfortunately for him, Priest was able to find new life, as he took advantage of Sheamus taunting him by picking up a kendo stick and assaulting his opponent with it. The two stars continued to trade blows, but it was clear that Sheamus was more concerned with showing Priest up than anything else.
Sheamus repeatedly taunted and showboated, which only allowed Priest to keep himself in the match. Eventually, the pair began trading punches in the middle of the ring, and Priest ultimately gained the upper hand when he put Sheamus through a table. He then planted Sheamus with the Reckoning in order to retain his title in a decisive victory.
