The fight for the World Heavyweight Championship between Damian Priest and Seth Rollins at WWE Money in the Bank 2024 wasn’t just about the title. Additional terms were agreed upon for the match; Priest would have to exit The Judgment Day if he lost, while Rollins would be disqualified from challenging for the World Heavyweight Championship as long as Priest possessed the title.
Unexpected circumstances arose when CM Punk meddled in the match and Drew McIntyre chose to cash in his Money in the Bank slot, ultimately leading to Priest’s victory over McIntyre. This meant that Rollins lost, despite not being the one pinned. Unfortunately for The Visionary, these conditions were immovable, leaving him empty-handed.
A later encounter backstage during WWE Monday Night Raw saw Priest and Rollins come head to head, trading respectful acknowledgements. Remembering Priest’s skills, Rollins offered his fellow wrestler some advice on challenging Gunther at SummerSlam. In response, Priest commended Rollins, expressing his determination with: “I still have a lot to gauge. As far as the gentlemen’s agreement is concerned, discard it. Once I’m done with Gunther and, if you want your turn, I’ll take you on, no holds barred. You merely need to make the call.”

Of course, Priest has to face and defeat Gunther, the self-proclaimed Ring General and King of the Ring at SummerSlam, before a potential clash with Rollins can take place. But let’s speculate on the possibilities. If and when that occurs, how do you imagine it turning out? Do tell us what you think.
