Damian Priest proclaimed himself as the leader of The Judgment Day on Monday Night RAW, which startled his fellow stablemates.
WWE RAW opened with The Judgment Day sparring on the mic with Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins, Sami Zayn, and Jey Uso during which The American Nightmare taunted the heel faction about the fact that they lacked a leader.
After Rhodes had finished questioning Finn Balor, JD McDonagh and Dominik Mysterio, Priest suddenly spoke out and called himself the leader, which drew stares from the other members of the group.

A backstage promo saw The Judgment Day chatting when Rhea Ripley and Finn Balor discussed the possibility of bringing McDonagh in officially.
Although Damian Priest was skeptical, he eventually was convinced by the various ways McDonagh had proven himself. Priest stated that he wanted to induct McDonagh himself.
Priest later walked up to McDonagh and conveyed his mixed feelings for him, however, considering the 205 Live Champion’s loyalty toward the faction, he could stand with him and go to war.
Priest then presented McDonagh with a Judgment Day jacket and Balor walked up to congratulate his protégé.
