WWE NXT’s rising star, Je’Von Evans, is ready to step into the wrestling ring with personalities like Randy Orton and others in the times ahead.

Evans, scheduled to be a part of the fatal four-way championship match at NXT: Heatwave, including adversaries like Trick Williams, Ethan Page, and Shawn Spears, recently had an interaction with “MuscleManMalcolm”. During the conversation, he listed his dream rivals in the wrestling world. Evans expressed his esteem for Randy Orton in the following words,

“Randy Orton. I’m a staunch Randy Orton fan. The ‘09 Randy Orton is special to me. The bald-head Randy was formidable, my god. The menace, I appreciated it. I would really value an opportunity to gain knowledge from him.”

Evans’ admiration does not stop with Randy Orton. He continued, “A live TV match between me and ‘Melo [Carmelo Hayes] hasn’t happened yet. So, I hope, now as he’s part of the main roster, we’d get to feature together. Of course, Cody [Rhodes] is the unrivaled one right now. Would certainly like to learn from these legends.”

Meanwhile, Damian Priest, another WWE star, confirmed that he won’t be present for the upcoming WWE SmackDown TV due to transportation complications.

Through a Twitter post, Priest communicated his apologies: “Regrettably, I won’t be there to headline The Garden tonight. Still haven’t taken off. Stranded on a plane on a runway. I am very disappointed and I apologize to my followers. This one hurts. Enjoy the show! #SmackDown I’m sure will be fantastic.”
