WWE Superstar Sunday is said to be off air this weekend, as per Pwinsider. This is to make way for the NXT Battleground 2024, which will be broadcasted on Peacock.
The popular Superstar Sunday programme is set to make a comeback with fresh episodes on A&E, tentatively scheduled for Sunday, June 16. See the planned schedule here:
8:00 PM EST – Biography: WWE Legends – featuring “ECW – Birth of Hardcore”
11:04 PM EST – Biography: WWE Legends, featuring a Director’s Cut of Stone Cold Steve Austin
In other news, celebrated singer Cyndi Lauper recently made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, where she spoke about her upcoming documentary, Let the Canary Sing. She fondly reminisced about her association with WWE in the 1980s, particularly her managerial responsibilities with wrestler Wendi Richter. Lauper also touched upon notable wrestling personalities such as Captain Lou Albano and Roddy Piper.
