On February 20, 2025, a remarkable lawsuit was lodged by Lius Danny Soto in the United States Federal Court for the Southern District of New York. Multiple parties including Endeavor, IMG, TKO, the WWE, UFC, Seven Bucks Productions, celebrated wrestler The Rock, and sports executive Dana White, are included in the defendants listed. Spanning 12 pages, the lawsuit launches a series of severe charges including harassment, corruption, unauthorized medical experimentation, and conspiracy.
It is suggested by Soto in his allegations that the WWE participated in illicit activities like making payoffs to law enforcement, judges, and prosecutors across various regions. Soto”s claim asserts that the selling of WWE to Endeavor, and its subsequent union with UFC into TKO was an evasive maneuver to skirt liability laws.
Charges alleged by Soto include harassment, intimidation, and stalking directed at him by executives and performers from the WWE and UFC. He asserts that the companies operate a clandestine operation dealing in illicit substances, political campaign fundraising, and more. Soto also claims that he endured mental and physical suffering from unsanctioned medical experiments involving virtual patient simulators and anthropomorphic test machines, resulting in convulsive fits.
Moreover, Soto indicts the companies with the accusation of using their influence to pay off political figures, judges, and law enforcement in certain states to evade responsibility. He maintains that prejudice based on his ethnicity, faith, political inclinations, gender, and sexual orientation violated his civil rights.
In a more bizarre twist, female staff members of the companies allegedly used technology to emit unpleasant odors, causing him discomfort and humiliation. Soto also alleges hacking of his personal life details and the creation of AI-generated videos aimed to terrify him. The lawsuit seeks compensation in the form of damages, reimbursement for lost earnings, and legal costs. Soto desires to go to trial with a jury. No proof to back the allegations has been presented, and as of now, the defendants have not been served.
In the lawsuit, the following statements can be found:
“Without my consent, apparatus was set up in my home meant to treat psychiatric conditions seen commonly in drug users. The equipment was utilized on me without my agreement… this collusion between parties resulted in fraudulent depriving of my rights and a collaboration to commit an act prohibited by law causing moral injury… The apparatus used to treat depression, anxiety, panic attacks, and sleep complications linked to drug use was used knowingly and repeatedly without my consent.”
The plaintiff claims “threats were made against him with the intent to falsely incriminate him using DNA and a “rape kit” and also threats of infecting him with a sexually transmitted disease… Law enforcement was utilized by the defendants to further infringe upon Plaintiff’s rights.”
