Mixed Martial Artist Conor McGregor is keen to step into the boxing ring with ex-WWE wrestler Logan Paul. Reports indicate discussions are underway to transform this matchup into a formidable reality.

On social media platform Twitter, McGregor hinted that he is in dialogue with Asia’s wealthiest family, the Ambanis, about going toe-to-toe with the former U.S. Champion.

“The speculations about a match with Topurio are incorrect,” wrote McGregor in a tweet. “I am in initial agreements with the Ambani family to confront Logan Paul in a boxing exhibition in India. I have given my consent. Following this, I will plan my return to the Octagon.”

Despite being predominately recognized for his MMA journey, McGregor previously competed with Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather in a 2017 exhibition match. Interestingly, Paul also has a history of fighting Mayweather.

McGregor hasn’t been seen in combat since 2021 due to a serious broken leg injury. He was scheduled to compete against Michael Chandler in the current year, but the match fell through.

In the earlier stages of the month, McGregor was held responsible in a civil rape lawsuit and was obligated to compensate his victim with a massive £200,000 payout. Now, he aims to challenge the verdict.

As for Paul, he has recently distanced himself from WWE after becoming a father. His last performance came against LA Knight at SummerSlam 2024, where he met with a defeat.
