It is time for another week of the Ultimate Power Rankings from both WWE and AEW. Who improved their stock from last week and who downgraded their position among the rest?
This set ranges from Monday (February 26) and to Sunday (March 3). This means that all the results and highlights from this week’s Raw, NXT, AEW Dynamite, SmackDown, AEW Rampage, and AEW Collision will be factored into the ranking. The results and highlights from AEW’s Revolution PPV will also play part in where each wrestler lands.
If a wrestler has a (+) next to their name, then that means that they moved up the rankings from edition. When there is a (-) next to their name, then that means that they moved down from the rankings of the last edition. If there is nothing next to their name, then that means that they stayed at the same spot.
Without further ado, let’s get into this week’s Power Rankings for WWE and AEW!
WWE TOP 10 POWER RANKINGS:
10. Charlie Dempsey (NR)
The new NXT Heritage Cup has a new holder, as Dempsey has finally hoisted the special championship. This has felt inevitable for quite some time now, and it’s great to see Dempsey get this accolade to build himself up.
9. Tiffany Stratton (NR)
Stratton’s incredible start to the main roster continued this week, as she picked up another win on SmackDown, against Naomi. Stratton is getting super over, from anywhere in the U.S. to all the way in Perth, Australia. Also, rumors have it that Stratton vs. Bianca Belair could be the plan for WrestleMania.
8. Randy Orton (-3)
Orton notched another win by beating Austin Theory on SmackDown, as Orton continues to push closer towards WrestleMania and a probable date with Logan Paul and the United States Championship.
7. Imperium (+2)
Many people are gunning for Gunther’s history run as Intercontinental Champion. From Sami Zayn to Chad Gable to The Judgment Day, Gunther’s path for WrestleMania may seem unclear, but is definitely an intriguing story to watch in the weeks ahead. Also, props to Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci for having a great and hardcore match with The New Day on Raw. Great feud between the two groups.
6. Seth Rollins (+1)
The World Heavyweight Champion had a confrontation with his challenger Drew McIntyre. His feud with The Rock and Roman Reigns also intensified, with the tag team match between him, Cody Rhodes, and The Bloodline, set to main event Night 1 of WrestleMania.
5. Becky Lynch (+3)
The #1 Contender to the Women’s World Championship, Lynch interfered in Nia Jax and Liv Morgan’s match on Raw, after dueling on the mic with Rhea Ripley. It seems like Lynch will put a bow to her long standing rivalry with Jax before WrestleMania comes around.
4. The Judgment Day (NR)
Mr. Money in the Bank Damian Priest is teasing at coming after Gunther, and the same can be said for Dominik Mysterio. Also, as Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions, Awesome Truth is presumed to be their ideal opponent for the biggest event of the year.
3. Drew McIntyre
McIntyre’s work continues to be brilliant and stands a very good chance at finally becoming world champion in front of the WWE Universe.
2. Cody Rhodes (-1)
“The American Nightmare” has two main events set for WrestleMania. With the odds potentially stacked against him for Night 2, Cody’s story is hopefully still in the cards to finish with him holding the WWE Championship in Philly.
1. Damage CTRL (+1)
Perhaps the best feud in all of WWE right now is Damage CTRL. The next chapter in the rivalry occurred this past Friday, as Dakota Kai turned on Bayley and aligned herself with Iyo Sky and The Kabuki Warriors, leaving Bayley high and dry, all by herself.
AEW TOP 10 POWER RANKINGS:
10. Konosuke Takeshita (-5)
Despite coming up short against Will Ospreay at Revolution, Takeshita surely went out there and put out a Match of the Year quality match. Hopefully this is finally the match and year that proves Takeshita is ready for a major singles title run.
9. Toni Storm (-6)
The AEW Women’s World Champion is still around the waist of “Timeless” Toni. Storm defeated Deonna Purrazzo to retain her title at Revolution. However, look out Storm, Big Business is coming in the form of Mercedes Mone.
8. Swerve Strickland (-7)
He may not be the AEW World Champion, but Strickland was heavily protected in this one but not taking the pin in the defeat.
7. Christian Cage (NR)
The TNT Championship remained with The Patriarchy’s ruler in Cage. Cage knocked off, maybe to the surprise of some, Daniel Garcia at Revolution.
6. Blackpool Combat Club (-2)
The BCC continue to dominate AEW. Despite Bryan Danielson not scoring a victory at the PPV, Jon Moxley and Claudio Castagnoli rolled to a fun tag team win over FTR. And now with the tag titles vacated, the BCC stand a great shot at becoming top dogs in the tag division.
5. The Undisputed Kingdom (NR)
This group needed something and on Sunday, the stable got that with two big wins. First, Wardlow won the All-Star Scramble match, becoming the next challenger to the AEW World Championship. Then, Roderick Strong dethroned Orange Cassidy and became the International Champion. To top it off, things got even more interesting with the return of Kyle O’Reilly, a possible feud or partnership with him.
4. Eddie Kingston (NR)
Kingston got the respect of Danielson and kept his Continental Crown in tact at Revolution, in what was another hard hitting and competitive matchup.
3. Will Ospreay (NR)
The man of the hour in AEW, Ospreay showed up and showed out in his first full-time AEW match, beating Takeshita in an awesome clash. Big things are to come for Ospreay.
2. Samoa Joe (+4)
Joe is still the World Champion, prevailing in the three-way title defense over “Hangman” Adam Page and Strickland.
1. Darby Allin and Sting (+1)
In what was a bloody and fun match to cap off the night, Sting’s retirement, and thus AEW run, ended with an unbeaten record, retaining the tag titles with Allin over The Young Bucks. Sting’s career has been nothing short of historic, and this was the best possible ending he could’ve realistically asked for. Applause and bowing down to a legend like himself is needed for everything he’s given to the industry.
