Combate Americas, which is the mixed martial arts home of several professional wrestlers including Sexy Star, Alberto El Patron and Thunder Rosa, is shaking up its upcoming events due to the Coronavirus outbreak. They’ll be putting on several closed studio shows like several Japanese wrestling promotions have due to the virus. In addition, they are postponing their March 13, 20, and 27 events. This is due to wanting to keep their fighters safe.

“We are announcing a series of live television MMA events in a closed studio, in response to the Coronavirus outbreak,” announced the promotion. “This new format will begin on April 3rd. We are postponing our Tucson (March 13th), Mexico City (March 20th) and San Antonio (March 27th) events. Fans who have purchased tickets are entitled to a complete refund, and can claim their refunds by following Ticketmaster’s refund protocol. Additionally, ticket holders for any of the three impacted shows will receive an exclusive opportunity to purchase tickets for the rescheduled shows before these tickets go on sale to the general public. We put the health and safety of our athletes, fans and staff above all considerations. We look forward to continuing to bring mucha mas accion with our new format.”
