The Packaging
Rock features the same packaging as the previous sets with the larger, window box. In the window you can see the him and all his included accessories, hands, heads and more. One side of the box features his name while the opposite side an image of him while on the back of the box highlights the superstar with statistics and information followed by more images.
The Figure
This is by far Rock’s best Attitude Era figure to date. The detail on the new head scans he comes with is excellent and of course the added articulation makes him that much better. Rock comes with a Brahama Bull cloth t-shirt that un-velcros in the back. I have seen numerous people receiving ones in an Eddie Guerrero shirt, which is a factory error, so hopefully you don’t run into that. He also comes with his sunglasses, which are removable, as well as a WWE scratch logo microphone, the WWE Championship title, two alternate heads and several pairs of hands, including “Just Bring It” hands.
Rock features the typical Ultimate Edition articulation with a ball-jointed chest joint as well as double-jointed elbows and knees. He also features the toe joints that all Ultimates have for that extra posing ability. Not to mention he has his unique boots with the straps along the back of his legs. His attire features his classic black trunks with “The Rock” logo on the front and the Brahama Bull logo on the back and he has his iconic Brahama Bull tattoo on his right arm prior to his tattoo updates.
Overall
Overall, this is a really wonderful figure of The Rock. The accessories, hands and heads really make it special and the extra articulation is always great for posing purposes. It’s too bad he wasn’t released in 2021 as Mattel said the figures will have the extra butterfly joints, which will make them even more poseable to recreate moves with. When you get your Rock be sure to look it over well as a lot of people have gotten ones with poor paint applications on the head scans, which can be an easy fix if you know how to fix it or it can completely ruin it for you. Unfortunately Mattel has had a lot of quality control issues with paint apps as of late and I’m not sure why. That’s just something to be aware of. Hopefully yours comes with the proper shirt as well, but besides those issues this figure is great. The different heads really make it special as you can recreate a lot of Rock’s moment’s and mannerisms, which gives collectors the ultimate experience with it. Definitely pick one up if you desire as I’m not sure when or if we will see a throwback version of him again in the line.
