Cody Rhodes just recently appeared on Hot 97 radio in New York to discuss his WWE profession and more.

Throughout the interview, Rhodes shared his take that Monday Night Raw is still WWE’s flagship program, not Friday Night SmackDown, regardless of that program having Roman Reigns and being on FOX.

“Having matured in the business, I value SmackDown for all it is and being on Fox and all that wonderfulness there, however RAW is still the flagship program. It practically looks like perhaps a more youthful generation of fans, a few of the kids for instance that we have at the Nightmare Factory, I ask, ‘‘ Hey, what are you viewing’, and this and that. I feel possibly they forgot that it’s the flagship program. I suggest, you’ve got Bianca on there. You got Seth on there. You got Becky on there. I’m back on there. Plus, there’s a lot crossover. We’re in the Mania season where the walls are down anyhow. You do not understand what’s going to occur, Paul Heyman recently. For it to be the flagship program, Cena being one of my most significant function designs in the organization, that’s kind of the specific you desire to pattern your actions after and he’s one that I’ve attempted to do that and be extremely happy of being on RAW, being back on RAW.”
