In a recent discussion with “Superstar Crossover”, Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, Cody Rhodes, revealed his continual work towards bringing back the “Winged Eagle” version of the title.
The Winged Eagle WWE Title, gaining traction during the Attitude Era, had its run from the year 1988 to 1998.
When asked about his efforts, Rhodes stated, “I’m so glad you asked. Please know that any individual who has ever heard the phrase ‘Winged Eagle Title’ from my lips, I assure you, I am still diligently seeking its return. My mission still continues and, as demonstrated previously, even if it’s for a single evening or ephemeral, I strive to keep my promises. So, I’m on it.”
