During Saturday night’s WWE Backlash: France pay-per-view event, Cody Rhodes defeated AJ Styles in the main event to retain the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.
Styles went in for the Styles Clash, but Cody escaped and ran to the top rope to connect with a Cody Cutter.
The American Nightmare quickly followed up with the Cross Rhodes for the pin to win and retain his title.
