Cody Rhodes’ Sister Teil Says He Has To Win The Big One In WWE

Teil Runnels, the sister of Cody Rhodes, is confident that her brother will one day ‘finish the story’ and become Undisputed WWE Universal Champion.

Speaking to “SportsKeeda,” Runnels spoke about her brother’s desire to win ‘the big one’ in WWE which has motivated him ever since he returned to the company. She said,

“Well, I think he has to win the big one. That’s what he came to do, and Cody never gives up. When he was a young wrestler when he was in high school wrestling, he just doesn’t have a lot of quit in him, so for us and him that’s finishing the story. The story of our family’s legacy in the business and it’s the last piece of the puzzle.”

During the post-WrestleMania 38 RAW, Rhodes vowed to win the WWE Championship his father never did, which is currently part of Roman Reigns’ championship.

Earlier this month, Rhodes said that winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship wouldn’t be ‘finishing the story‘ but that it is still an important title.
