Cody Rhodes Shares New Name For WWE’s Current Era

WWE wrestling icon, Cody Rhodes, best known as the American Nightmare, has made a significant mark on the contemporary wrestling scene, an accomplishment he is proud to lead.

Following his triumph at WrestleMania 40, there has been increased speculation about WWE entering a new phase, one that would not involve Vince McMahon.

During his appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Rhodes unveiled his chosen term for the WWE’s current wave. He stated,

“We find ourselves in a unique time, post the Attitude Era and the Ruthless Aggression Era, and finding the right term for this WWE phase is challenging. I propose we refer to it as the Record Era, signifying the countless records we’re smashing.

“The revamped team with Triple H, Nick Khan, and Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson at the helm has facilitated my journey. Referred to as the quarterback, I merely execute the strategies they devise, with the ultimate aim of making us all shine. It’s truly a remarkable period. My heartfelt thanks to everyone.”

The WWE is indeed setting record-breaking milestones, including generating unprecedented revenue from pay-per-view events both domestically and internationally.

Rhodes won’t be participating in the upcoming Survivor Series, marking the first pay-per-view event he will miss since his crowning as the Undisputed WWE Champion.

The next high-stakes face-off for Rhodes is set for the Saturday Night’s Main Event next month, where he’ll be up against Kevin Owens to defend his title.
