Cody Rhodes, widely acclaimed as the ‘leader’ of WWE, has candidly voiced his belief that the lion’s share of the company’s Superstars don’t bring in audience viewership, during a recent episode of his “What Do You Wanna Talk About?” podcast. The conversation took place between him and Damian Priest.

Cody made an unexpected revelation, stating, “This is an unpopular thing to share, but I’ll share it. If you look at a roster sheet — in any company, any company — you’d be surprised at the percentage that actually — and I’ll use the term — earn, or draw, for a company. You’d think it’s a lot more. And then you look and it’s a small percentage. Now, it doesn’t mean people won’t, it doesn’t mean people aren’t getting there, it doesn’t mean context makes it so that a few times they do. But there’s a small percentage.”

Rhea Ripley was identified by Rhodes as a Superstar who has time and again shown her worth as a crowd puller, a point of view that Priest immediately backed.

Cody himself has confirmed his position as a leading figure in WWE following his 2022 comeback, and he directed the company in the capacity of an Undisputed WWE Champion for over twelve months.
