Cody Rhodes Rocks Winged Eagle Belt At Saturday Night’s Main Event

Retaining his Undisputed WWE Universal Champion title, Cody Rhodes once again emerged victorious against Kevin Owens at the Saturday Night’s Main Event.

The stunning “Winged Eagle” belt accompanied Rhodes to the arena. This iconic iteration of the WWE title has been previously held by wrestling greats such as Hulk Hogan and Stone Cold Steve Austin before its retirement in 1998.

In a dramatic turn of events, referee Charles Robinson was incapacitated as Owens pushed Rhodes into him. Exploiting the moment, Owens attempted to strike with a chair, but Rhodes deftly avoided the attack. Instead, he successfully executed a Cross Rhodes onto the chair. As luck had it, Robinson regained his senses just in time to execute the count.

This marks the 251st day of Cody Rhodes’ first tenure as WWE Champion.
