At a WWE live gathering in Manchester, England recently, the reigning WWE Universal Champion Cody Rhodes welcomed the current interim UFC Heavyweight Champion Tom Aspinall to the audience.
Cody Rhodes, also known as the American Nightmare, spoke on this special occasion and the connection between the two related corporations. He stated,
“The fans from WWE and UFC hold a stark contrast in terms of their backgrounds. Still, the fundamental objective remains the same; that is to dominate globally in the sports and sports entertainment industry. This alliance couldn’t have formed any better.”
He further went on to express his enthusiasm about introducing Aspinall to the crowd, “The moment they told me I would be introducing Tom, I was overjoyed. It was truly a high point for all of us and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I look forward to similar collaborations in the future. But it’s worth noting that the response from the audience varies greatly. Not everyone receives a grand cheer. We must commend Tom, as he managed to receive a superstar-level cheer, which gives us a promising starting point, but we might want to leave it at that.”
