As the world continues to take extra precautions regarding the COVID-19 outbreak, the wrestling world continues to hold its shows, albeit without a crowd. Taking to social media, All Elite Wrestling’s Cody Rhodes explained the decision for the company when a fan asked why they would continue to do shows.
According to Rhodes, the main reason AEW will press on without a crowd is due to the fans at home. While everyone stays home either scared or bored, Rhodes notes that entertainment leaders should follow the community leaders, and give people something to “laugh, cry, forget, love” about. While some may disagree, it’s clear Rhodes is taking the proper precautions, and aims to keep bringing fans entertainment amidst the chaos.
