Cody Rhodes Making ‘Special Announcement’ This Week On AEW Dynamite
Cody Rhodes was knocked out by Anthony Ogogo this past Friday night on AEW Dynamite, but “The American Nightmare” apparently has a potential knockout announcement in store for fans next week.
AEW announced via Twitter that Cody will meet up with Tony Schiavone to drop some news once Dynamite commences once again on Friday:
“This Friday Night on #AEWDynamite 10/9c on TNT, the ‘American Nightmare’ Cody Rhodes will make a special announcement with Tony Schiavone,” the company Tweeted.

Cody tagged up with Lee Johnson on Friday to take on Big Shotty’s former trainer in QT Marshall and the aforementioned Ogogo. QT got the nefarious pin after “The Guv’nor” got a cheap shot in on Lee.

Rhodes Excited For Andrade El Idolo In AEW
Rhodes also was active on Twitter as he answered a fan’s question regarding the unexpected debut of Andrade El Idolo as the former WWE star was introduced by Vickie Guerrero.
“Well dressed man,” Cody started out about Andrade. “Big signing by Tony – Andrade is a stud and I’m excited to see him in AEW.”

The well-dressed Andrade cut a brief promo in the ring making it clear that he has the primary goal of becoming the face of All Elite Wrestling.
