Cody Rhodes has declared his firm commitment to always be a ‘suit guy’ in the wrestling world.

In a recent episode of the “Sneaker Shopping” podcast, the current Undisputed WWE Universal Champion shared his thoughts about his sartorial choices in wrestling TV. His words were:

“I am likely to always opt for the suit in this industry. I am unsure whether this is suitable for your show, but I shall voice it regardless, as I have done in past interviews. Whenever I encounter a business collaborator who seems to be uneasy with my preference for wearing a suit, I can’t help but sense their insecurity. In my opinion, it seems rather obvious. We all have our distinct styles and I simply do not have the desire to conform to the norm of wearing shorts. Let’s be realistic.”

He went on to say, “The negative vibes received from those who aren’t comfortable with my suit, who perceive me as attempting to be superior, are misguided. I am not attempting to be anything, I am driven by the desire to be exceptional. And that’s the crux of the matter. So perhaps it’s an inferiority complex they’re dealing with. They are aware of their shortcomings.”

Meanwhile, Roxanne Perez has taken some time to discuss with Pro Wrestling Illustrated about her future ambitions in WWE, her personal plans to start a family, among other things.

Below are some key points from the interview:

On her professional goals in WWE: “Naturally, WrestleMania is the ultimate objective. But my aim is to leave a legacy in WWE. I aim to secure as many titles as possible. I hope to become a Grand Slam champion. I aspire to compete in all WWE pay-per-view events. Main eventing WrestleMania is also on my bucket list. I have a considerable amount of work ahead, but I am on the right track. I am already holding [the NXT Women’s Championship].”

About her personal ambition of starting a family: “I certainly hope to achieve as many of my WWE goals as possible before embarking on family life. I derive huge inspiration from the journey of Becky Lynch who established an impressive legacy, took maternity leave and returned in a blaze of glory. She seamlessly balances her demanding career with being a mother, and I aspire to emulate that one day: to build a professional legacy, start a family, and stage a successful comeback.”
