On a recent episode of the renowned “Busted Open Radio” podcast, the esteemed Mark Henry discussed the showdown between Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes on a previous installment of WWE SmackDown.
As a revered WWE Hall of Famer and erstwhile AEW star, Henry shared his perspective that the sequence “did not resonate.” Henry stated,
“It appears that Roman may not have been observant enough. His judgment may be fogged due to his preoccupations with the ula fala [Samoan necklace], his relatives, and The Bloodline. But, I believe he negligently overlooked that Cody defeated him.”
He extended his assessment, adding, “Even if he views himself as the tribal chief of their clan, the reality is that without the title, he’s not the tribal chief of the WWE. Cody is the ultimate chief in the WWE, holding the strap, makes him the commander-in-chief.”
