Cody Rhodes – ‘I’m Working On A Rematch With Roman Reigns’

Cody Rhodes failed to ‘finish the story’ at WrestleMania 39 but the American Nightmare isn’t finished with Roman Reigns.

Speaking to “Sports Illustrated,” Rhodes was asked about a potential rematch with the Tribal Chief and said it is what he is working toward. He said,

“I know what I want, I know what I’m working to attain. I had other challenges before. People didn’t think I’d survive Stardust, or that a non-WWE show could sell 10,000 tickets.

“There have been plenty of times when people bet against me. Getting back [to Reigns,] this is the biggest obstacle yet.

“That [a rematch with Reigns] is my goal: get back. And that’s what I’m fighting to do.”

During this week’s RAW, Rhodes spoke about his victory over Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam and teased challenging World Heavyweight Champion Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins.
