In a recent interactive session with Maxx Fuller of KFAN, Cody Rhodes shared an amusing anecdote about a friend who constantly sends him merchandise from The Rock’s product line. Rhodes commented in a humorous tone,
“A certain individual, whom I’m not sure I can call a friend, persistently sends me an array of products from The Rock’s line. The range is quite diverse, encompassing Papatui, Zoa, Teremana among others. Even if I was in grave need of these products, I would still encounter a problem. This stems from the personal circumstances that have unraveled between him and myself. Nonetheless, the feedback I’ve received about these products has been nothing but phenomenal. Even my wife seems to enjoy the occasional sip of Teremana. It appears he’s on to something successful.”
During the widely-talked-about ‘Mr. McMahon’ docuseries, currently available for streaming on Netflix, Vince McMahon shared his views on incorporating family into business. Recounting his advice to kin, he conveyed,
“Everyone needs to comprehend their role. At times, a family member may contemplate, ‘Hold on. I’ve got this under control…’ However, they may not clearly envision the growth and creation of a business as someone directly involved would. Their perspective could work, but eventually, we will default to my vision. I would caution anyone against integrating family into your business. It’s ruthless. Down the line, it’s bound to fall apart.”
