The Thursday premiere of “Go-Big Show” on TBS was the best unscripted series launch for the network in the last three years, according to the latest batch of ratings from Nielsen (via The Wrap).
The television show, which is hosted by Bert Kreischer and features All Elite Wrestling’s Cody Rhodes as one of the judges, saw 1 million total viewers tune in, with 384,000 of those landing in the 18-49 demographic. Those numbers are good enough to catapult the show past other TBS programming debuts, which is surely to be music to the ears of the company.
“Go-Big Show” is an extreme talent competition where a variety of contestants – ranging from monster truck drivers, stunt archers, and more – all compete for a $100,000 prize. The goal of the show is to highlight some acts that might not get attention in the mainstream elsewhere, and to give those people a chance to showcase their skills on a national level. For those looking to tune in, “Go-Big Show” airs on Thursdays at 9:00 p.m. ET on TBS.
