Cody Rhodes Gets A Victory Over Brock Lesnar At WWE Backlash 2023
Cody Rhodes’ story continues following his hard-fought victory over Brock Lesnar at WWE Backlash 2023 on Saturday night.
Lesnar was busted open during the match and started gushing blood after being on the receiving end of a drop toehold to an exposed ring post.
Lesnar nearly had the match won when he locked Rhodes into the deadly Kimura Lock.
However, The American Nightmare somehow countered the submission hold and rolled The Beast’s shoulders to the mat, thus scoring a pinfall victory against the 3-time WWE Universal Champion.
An angry, beaten, bloodied Lesnar stood in the ring as Cody headed to the back.
