Earlier this year, Rhodes promised to attend a fan’s 5th birthday party and intends to honour his commitment.
Rhodes spotted a fan who had brought along a sign inviting him to the fan’s 5th birthday party during a WWE Live Event in North Charleston in March. Noting that the party was on June 25, he confirmed his attendance at the event.
Rhodes had commented earlier, ”I see that sign that says ‘Cody, come to my fifth birthday party.’ Should I go to his birthday party? When is it, June 25th? Am I supposed to bring a gift? I could bring a casserole. I’m sure on a Wednesday, his 5th birthday in North Charleston, people would appreciate a casserole. So should I do it? My answer is yes.”
Recently, Rhodes confirmed on his Instagram story, his commitment to attending his young fan’s 5th birthday party. He penned,
”When you give somebody your word, you best show up. Fun excursion planned today.”
The Instagram post became viral, demonstrating his desire to keep his promise.
