Cody Rhodes had to get dangerous to defeat Wardlow on AEW Dynamite this week and he has a fractured toe as a result.
As first reported by @CodyRhodes on his IG account https://t.co/KR72d2zpot And confirmed by @DocSampson13. Due to Cody’s foot hitting the mat after landing the moonsault, he has a: Non-displaced fracture of distal phalanx R great toe.
His status: Cleared for action as tolerated.— All Elite Wrestling (@AEWrestling) February 22, 2020
However, the finishing sequence that saw Rhodes do a moonsault off the top of the cage will have some ramifications. AEW doctors confirmed that Rhodes has suffered a non-displaced fracture of his right great toe. However, he’s cleared for action and is on a treatment plan, so don’t expect Rhodes to miss his match against MJF at AEW Revolution.
